Me Made May – week 4
This was the last week and I nearly made it to the end with something different every day. Had it been winter and I was wearing wool socks every day this would have been a snap. However, I am not complaining about Spring!
Tuesday, May 26 – tatted pendant. This pattern is by Marilee Rockley and is in one of her boutique jewelry books. It’s actually an earring pattern, but the beads I chose were pretty heavy and I love it as a pendant. One of those things I forget to wear!
Wednesday, May 27 – Blue Celtic knot earrings. This pattern is by Rozella Linden and I love it. You can make it with or without picots and I like the clean look without picots.
Thursday, May 28 – beaded earrings NOT made by me. These were made for me by one of my lovely nieces, Sierra, and they go with so much of my wardrobe that I wear them a lot. Thank you Honey! My other niece, Abby, is a young seamstress and she is very creative as well. She isn’t afraid to try anything.
Friday, May 29 – seems fitting to end the month wear I started with my Rusted Root pullover. This is a great garment for this time of the year with the cotton/linen blend yarn.
This was a great challenge for me and I’m eager to try it again next year. Thanks to @sarapomegranate and her Yarns at Yin Hoo podcast for suggesting it.
